What Both Identifies and Makes True Christians?

— 27th of Ziv, 179 JE —

Are we Christians? Really?

How were the Christians distinguished?

What did they do?

Have we forgotten?

* * * They called on the Name of the LORD JEHOSHUA! * * *

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of JEHOVAH shall be saved.

Joel 2:32

Paul, called to be an apostle of JEHOSHUA the MESSIAH through the will of GOD, and Sosthenes our brother, unto the church of GOD which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in the MESSIAH JEHOSHUA, called saints, with all that in every place call upon the Name of JEHOSHUA the MESSIAH our LORD, both theirs and ours…

1 Corinthians 1:1-2

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the LORD out of a pure heart.

2 Tim. 2:22

And, in this day and age, we ought to be calling on that mighty, saving Name many times throughout the day, even multiple times per minute if need be, otherwise we are lost in our sins! This is especially true when we are online, where every manner of sin is present.

We need to realize that when we are on the internet, we are at an arcade, we are at a brothel, we are at a strip club, we are at a cinema—we are are at all of these places at once, because we don’t need to go anywhere, only type in a URL and indulge the flesh, depending on what our inclination is—whether it be playing a game, watching a worldly show or movie, looking at porn, or viewing something comical, which is vanity. It is all life or death, so it is not a violation of the third Word of the Decalogue to call on His precious Name over and over and over and over again; we must have Him before us at all times, following Him.

The internet is very unnatural, as we are not meant to go from place to place so quickly; it requires a constancy of prayer like nothing else, with constant sanctified name-calling; and this is what apostolic Christians were known by, who did not even have the internet, which is a great and grave privilege and responsibility. And I’m not just speaking of game or porn addicts; there are just so many distractions and social media conversations online to catch our curiosity, and wasted time is a waste of the blood of JEHOSHUA, and therefore sin. If we make it a rule and habit to always call on the Name of JEHOSHUA as we virtually go places online, keeping Him before us, we will never fall. Never. You will fear to go anywhere without Him, and will not be able to, for the fear of GOD is developed in you. And you will thus find that you will not be going down rabbit trails online anymore, for how can you call on His Name just to check out some curiosity for the sake of vanity? You can’t. This really works!

Calling on His Name is to characterize our whole life!

We have been commanded by our LORD to watch unto prayer. What does this mean? We are simply to watch for any potential temptation—anything that may stir up the human passions, such as anger, anxiety, or lust. Remember, “a little leaven, leaveneth the whole lump” (1 Cor. 5:6). One little indulgence or one word spoken in a little wrath will lead to the leavening of sin, growing larger and larger. We cannot accept any leaven of sin. Only spiritual *unleavened* bread is acceptable unto GOD.

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.

1 Corinthians 5:7

The name of JESUS must be in our hearts and fall from our lips. The eye of faith must behold the LAMB OF GOD, which taketh away the sin of the world.

E.G. White, General Conference Bulletin, 10/1/1899

We have lost the simplicity of the faith. We have been walking in darkness instead of light. Doctrinal dogmas and fanaticism have taken over Adventism, and we were never completely free from it since our very beginning. What we need to do is return to our Hebrew and apostolic roots.

Salvation is knowing JEHOSHUA and calling on His Name. It is greatly enhanced by celebrating what He does for us at the weekly, monthly, and yearly appointed times, especially as we partake of the Supper of the LORD at those times.

We do not need a list of doctrines.

We do not need prophecy updates.

We do not need to attend the mainstream Conference SDA churches and have our faith destroyed.

What we need is JEHOSHUA and His Word and to raise up small assemblies that are kept pure by being taught apostolic Christianity and MESSIAH-centered prophecies.

Please, dear brothers and sisters, do not get sucked into the apostate Adventist culture—that is, dwelling on the dark things of the world in the name of “prophecy,” and dwelling on doctrinal errors to boost up pride of head knowledge, and indulging ourselves in gluttonous haystacks or health-destroying meat and dairy counterfeits. This is not the Adventist experience that GOD wants us to have. We need to develop a new culture of biblical simplicity.

We are simply to acknowledge and celebrate the MESSIAH at all of the appointed times, continually walk in His precious light and calling on His Name as needed, testify of Him with each other at our social meetings, and share Him with the world through our prophecies, as they connect with the appointed times. JEHOSHUA the MESSIAH and His biblical calendar are to become our whole life, for every moment belongs to Him and it.

This is the true revival of the last days, and you need not wait to experience it.

Sacrifice all for it, for Him, the LORD JEHOSHUA, who is to be all and everything to us!

This article focused on calling on the Name of our SAVIOUR throughout the day. But it is also essential to do so in our daily claiming of Bible promises. This should be part of our devotional experience at the beginning of each new day, as explained here.
